Dr. Deric D. Outley, DNP, MSN, RN is Principal Consultant of Houston's Praxium Health II a management services organization. He has held this position since April, 2019.
Prior to his initiation of Praxium Health Il , Dr. Qutley, RN worked for 11 years as a bedside Nurse with Harris County Hospital District, now Harris Health (HCHD), rising to the Director of Medicine Services. Dr. Outley's final HCHD role was Director of Operations of Aldine Community Health clinic where he researched, developed and implemented the “Collaborative Care Model focusing on quality of life of persons with diabetes mellitus"(DNP Capstone). Other roles include Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operation Officer for St. Anthony's Hospital of Houston, Tx, a private owner organization, CEO for Boson Health, a sophisticated nephology group in Houston, Tx., CEO of Sacred Oaks Psychiatric Facility in Houston Tx, and One of six Senior Clinical Strategist for Cerner, the worlds largest health care technology company. Dr. Outley RN also mentors several health care Providers, Managers, Directors, Executive, and Entrepreneurs.
Dr. Outley RN holds graduate degrees from the Prairie View A&M and Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. He was a Certified Nurse Executive and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Outley RN has been a Preceptor for Doctorate students since 2013 and speaks widely on the subject of healthcare leadership and care models.
Dr. Qutley RN is a serial entrepreneur, owner/operator. Owned and operated retail clothing stores, commodities companies, healthcare companies, land and development, consulting & management, technology, hardware and software. He continues to seek new opportunities.
